Our position
Playset is an unofficial fan project. Card images, card text, names, and game rules belong to their publishers. We host and organize this material because it serves players; we do not claim ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we honor the wishes of the people who do own it.
Requesting removal
If you are a rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and want material removed from any site in the network, email [email protected] with:
- Who you are — your name, organization, and role, and the rights you hold in the material.
- What the material is — specific URLs on our sites. “All card images from set X” is fine; we can enumerate.
- What you want — we can withhold the artwork, the names and rules text, or both, for anything from a single card to every card in the network. If what you want is something other than withholding, say so in your own words and we will answer about that rather than pretend it is a checkbox.
- How to reach you — an email address we can respond to.
What happens next
Every notice gets a human response acknowledging receipt, and a reference you can quote. We then verify it, act on what is verified, and confirm with you when it is done. Our sites are built to remain functional with any or all material withheld — nothing is deleted, a flag is read when the page renders — so acting is straightforward and reversible if we are shown we were wrong.
We aim to act within a reasonable time of verifying a request. Where we think a verified claim asks for more than it is entitled to, we will say so and explain why rather than quietly doing part of it; a notice we decline is still a notice we answered.
Network-wide requests, and what does not carry forward
A verified request can cover the entire network in one notice — you do not need to write per site, and scope is a property of your notice rather than of whichever domain someone was browsing.
It does not cover material that does not exist yet. Withholding is applied to the specific material a notice names, so a set a publisher releases after your notice is not withheld by it. We do not have a standing rule that catches future releases, and we would rather tell you that than let you believe one notice settled a game forever. Write to us again when there is something new, and it will be handled against the record of what you asked for last time.
